This policy is about the people who use AnalyticsTrend’s dashboard: our customers and their team members. AnalyticsTrend is a service owned by Deasil, in British Columbia, Canada, which is responsible for this data. What AnalyticsTrend collects about the people your projects measure is set out in What it collects, and handled for you as the data processing agreement describes.
What we hold about you
- Your login: your email address and a hash of your password, never the password itself.
- The accounts you belong to, your role in each, their names, settings, projects, goals and funnels.
- The emails we sent you, such as confirmations, password resets and alerts, kept as a record of what was sent.
- Whether you agreed to occasional product news, and when.
- For a paid plan: the plan, its currency and renewal date, and the payment provider’s reference for your subscription. Your card and billing details are held by the payment provider, not by us.
Cookies and your browser
The public pages set no cookie. The dashboard sets a cookie to keep you signed in. Right after you sign up, sign in or create a project, it also sets a second cookie for one minute, holding only which of those just happened, so the next page can count it in our own analytics; it is cleared as soon as it is read. Your choice of light or dark theme is kept in your own browser. analyticstrend.com is itself measured with AnalyticsTrend, under the same promises as any site: no tracking cookies, no fingerprinting and no IP address kept.
To limit how many accounts are created from one network in a day, signing up keeps a keyed hash of your network’s address in memory for 24 hours. It is never stored or logged. The web server keeps no access logs, so it keeps no visitor addresses either.
Why we hold it
To provide AnalyticsTrend to you: to sign you in, to show your reports, to send the emails the service needs, and to take payment. Occasional product news goes only to people who agreed to it, and you can stop it at any time in Notifications.
Who handles it for us
- A hosting provider runs AnalyticsTrend and stores its data, in Canada.
- An email delivery service sends AnalyticsTrend’s emails.
- A payment provider takes payments once paid plans open.
We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
Where it is and how long it is kept
AnalyticsTrend’s data is stored in Canada. Raw events are deleted after 90 days and daily totals are kept. An account with no plan has its events and reports removed 60 days after its trial or subscription ended. Deleted data can remain in the server’s backups for up to 7 days, after which the backups that held it are gone.
Your choices
- Turn product news on or off in Notifications.
- Delete your login from your account’s General page. If you are the only admin of an account, delete that account first.
- An account’s admins can delete the account, with every project and all of their data.
- Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or to correct it.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when what we hold or who handles it changes, and email the account’s admins about a material change. Questions about your privacy: ![]()
